Announces Auditions for Into the Woods

Open to all but looking especially for male singers

Auditions are Friday, May 24 from 5-7 PM

Callbacks - Tuesday, May 28 from 6-8 PM

Please prepare a selection from Into the Woods for the role you are interested- only 32 bars are needed.

The show runs July 17-21, 2013
Performances are Wednesday-Sunday

Rehearsals are June 17 - July 17, 2013. 

Monday -Fridays 4:30 - 8:30 PM / some Sunday rehearsals- 5-8 PM

If cast, there are tuition and costume fees.
Fees:
$425 tuition
$75 costume fee
$35 materials fee (this fee is returned when scripts are turned in)

The Brothers Grimm hit Broadway with an epic fairytale where worlds collide. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and brings them together for a timeless yet relevant piece and rare modern classic.

The story follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

This is a change in shows for our summer production.

Only the show has changed - all other performance dates and rehearsals are the same.

 

CenterStage Theatre Company is pleased to announce the second year of our exciting program,  Tapestry Theatre.  Tapestry Theatre is producing "Annie Jr." and casting actors with special needs in primary roles, and fellow actors as peer ensemble. Lead actors and ensemble members will be partnered during the rehearsal and performance process to create an incredible performance and experience. Please contact us to be included! We will accept actors on a first come, first serve basis which include up to 20 lead roles and 20 peer mentor roles. $200.00 Tuition, costume and materials fee. Performances in mid September. There will be a parent/actor meeting on May 15th, at the Louisville Art Center, 801 Grant St. Louisville. Please join us to get your questions answered and to complete paperwork!
